-Alow, born Benjamin Welte, is a San Francisco based artist who is continuously trying to branch out and find new and inspiring methods of creativity within his music. He started messing around on the piano at just two years old, and nearly 2 decades later, has become a well recognized artist with a self made genre from the years of inspiration pooled around him. Playing saxophone, piano, and an array of other instruments, both digital and physical alike, led him on a path of his own, eventually leading to a debut signing and release, first, with bitbird during the create together challenge in 2021 with 

, and on to other labels and creatives such as: Digital Daydream, SILKENWOOD, artbyform and Lacuna (so far)! During his time releasing songs, -Alow has also performed sets for the Webpage 505’s “505FEST” and “Nest Fest”, as well as hosted the weekly radio show on KXSF 102.5 FM, Electronic Venture, for nearly 2 years. He considers the bitbird, silkenwood, his local communities, and teachers as his musical family, and always loves going into a voice chat and talking to people about anything on the table.
